words from a selfish man

she left me.
not because she got someone else
but because she said
that i was selfish.

truly she wasn't the first one to do it.

bathe me in the scratch less green
where the birds wing with voices full.
where the trees carol in whipping air
and the light kisses the sky.

she looked an angel - gleaming with glee
she seemed a bijou  with hopes and spree
I never knew even beauty too prick
leaving me lie this struck and sick.

I'm selfish; they say it all-
I'm insensitive - they cry it full
i never got a girl who does speak and  tell-
'don't u get dear that u r not gonna fail ?'

far apart, far from the mysteries they cast
I sit and think: why things never last
never care, mind taps, for people who don't care u back
its your life , live it and don't let them crack.!!

  1. words spoken in languor are harsh cause they are not spoken from the heart; and people do care but we hurt them without our cognizance..indited in adroit hand this poem reflects your true countenance and the impasse which surrounds you..

  3. but there is one grammatical error... " a girl who speaks and tell "... though tell rhymes very well with fail, it is not grammatically correct ; the rhetorics of poetry permit the arbitrary placements of objects, subjects, verbs and all other parts of speech but nowhere ( including Poetics,Ars Poetica, lyrical ballads and even in sanskrit aesthetics ) grammatical changes are permitted :)
